Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on 18 November the 18th of November, 1985, at Los Angeles. She was the daughter of Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley while her mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix demonstrated a talent for athletics from the beginning, as she discovered her talent for sprinting when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships, in just 10 weeks after her first attempt. Felix agreed to sign a contract with Adidas for a professional career with Adidas in 2003, and later enrolled in University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens Greece. Felix set a Junior World Record by running 200 metres in 22.18 second. In 2005, she was the youngest World Champion in the 200m at the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007, over her former Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in her first Olympics and in the Olympics of Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo constantly placing within the top three of her competitions.
