Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish actor and model. Born on 11th November 1966. Her debut in a feature film was in a minor part in her debut role in the Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Then, later she was portrayed as a Nazi-sympathising Archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and in the Last Crusade 1989). There were also roles for Siobhan Dovan as Charlotte in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) Charlotte in Taffin (1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery in Major League II (1994). Doody started modeling after being approached by an experienced photographer. This led to an enviable professional career as a model for commercials. Doody was averse to glamour and nude work. This was a principle that she incorporated into her acting. After being spotted by to the director of casting for the upcoming James Bond film she accepted a small part as Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. Doody was named one of the 12 most promising young actors in the year 1986 by John Willis Screen World. 38. Doody was just turning age 18 when she was given the role of Bond girl. Doody is the youngest Bondgirl to date. Another early movie played a tiny part in the film as IRA Siobhan Doovan, a member of the IRA in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) that starred Mickey Rourke. Doody played a non-speaking part in the 1987 version of The Secret Garden appearing as Archibald Craven's wife Lilias in his dream. The Storyteller episode from 1988 was her first appearance in the main role of Sapsorrow as well as John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She played opposite Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) prior to taking probably her most high-profile part ever as Austrian Nazi-sympathiser as well as archaeologist the Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as a co-star with Harrison Ford. Doody appeared alongside Sean Connery in the film in the role of Indy's father. Doody was a co-star in the year 1991 alongside Jonathan Pryce opposite the British miniseries Selling Hitler, which was inspired by the publication fraud known as the Hitler Diaries. Then, she moved to Hollywood. She went on as Flannery Charlie Sheen's agent and her girlfriend for Major League II. Doody, who had been absent from the stage for nearly 10 years, came back 2003 to play a small role of her role in the British comedy The Actors in which Michael Caine played her in a scene at the ceremony for awards. Her roles included an appearance in a TV movie version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004 as well as a booklet on the Holocaust, and the short film Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. In 2010 Doody was a character on Danny Dyer's feature film The Rapture (2010). Later, she appeared as a guest in the medical drama of RTE The Clinic and was set to appear in a remake of the classic horror film The Asphyx but the project later stalled. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. She was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way which was a film from 2014. She received the Almeria film award on November 21, 2018.
